I painted chalk board paint on the kitchen wall over the weekend...

and we impatiently waited the 3 days the box said to wait...

and today we went wild!!! 

There will be many many hours of fun here!!! 

Well I haven't been a great  blogger as of late... 

I go through periods of time that I just don't have either anything to say or any motivation to type anything.

A lot has been going on though. We moved to a new place... a smaller place!

Its only 2 bedrooms and a lot less storage!! But its in a good city so we dont have to worry about school for the kids. And the rec center is in walking distance which will be great in the summer time! Its coming along nicely. We are all adjusting to the smaller space and the kids to sharing a room. 

What else is going on....???

Oh, Im going to be registering Jack for preschool soon!!!! I can't believe he's going to be going to school already!!! Where did my baby go?! :( 

I think thats about it... I will try to update more often and once the new place is set up I will post pics! 

Soooo.... I know I haven't been around much... well at all lately. And its probably pretty rude to only blog because I want to win a contest.... bbbbuuuuuuutttttttt... that's what I'm doing!

Not much going on, but I will try to blog more often!

I finally changed my background from the Christmas theme it had.

I just haven't felt the urge to type anything...

but I still creep around on other blogs.

Well 2010 has gone and 2011 has...

well already been kind of a let down.

I really really hope the feelings I have been having arent a foreshadowing of the year to come.

I hope everyone else is having a better start to the new year then I am.

I used everything I had on hand to decorate her tree

And for the garland I just used some punches and some scrap papers. For the topper I used some ribbon.

The other day (the 28th) was my daughters birthday....

She turned 3!!! THREE!! 

I cant believe how fast they are growing up!!

(this is not a rare sight! She does this often, we have learned to not fight it!)

We decorated our house for Christmas!!!

The lights, the music, the scents, the memories...

EVERYTHING!!

Here's my beautiful Nativity set... You cant tell from the picture but there is a garland & I added pine cones

Here are the kids stockings.... & a wreath I just finished making!

I used an extra stocking and cut it up to use the fabric to cover the top half and I had a bunch of little ornaments that I hot glued to the bottom. I used the bells from the stocking and glued those to some ribbon. The Merry Christmas sign was a $1 ornament from Walmart I picked up earlier.

I really LOVE the way it turned out!!And that is pretty much only cost me a $1.... seeing as I had most of the items on hand! Gotta love that!
