oh heck i am in love with your little work nook - i am currently moving my crafty room so am stuck in a hallway for about a month [YIKES] ...but maybe i could hang some sheer curtains & pretend i am in a lovely spot :P

Oh my! Im just happy to have a spot all to myself! Ive never had that before. You should really just embrace your hallway/work space and make it all your own!!! Good luck!
