Ok... well I'm surprised I remembered to post this! Here's my daily outfit!!!

I really love this dress... it's from Dots for $12!! It's like a shirt dress on top and a bubble skirt on the bottom... very comfy! I also have a black pearl necklace on from Walmart and black flats from Target. And of course I am at work so I got my trusty black shrug on too! Hope I'm lookin' good... got some complements so thats a good sign!

So like I promised here is a picture of my outfit. Its a bad pic off my cell phone... but the dress is denim from Dots. The shoes are a cheetah print on sale at Target for $9!! The belt I borrowed from my cousin and I don't know where she got it. I didn't have my black shrug on that I have to wear to work but that got added! So let me know what you think! I tried real hard today to look purdy for ya'all!!!

This is a test post from , a fancy photo sharing thing.

So I was thinking about how a lot of other blogs have a photo of their daily outfits and how put together they all look and the fashion risks they take...

And then I thought "Well, I try to look fashionable.. but I'm a mom and sometimes fashion is just not the right choice! I try to look nice for work, but honestly the elderly don't care what I'm wearing!"

Anyways!!! I have come to a conclusion I AM LETTING MYSELF GET OLDER THEN I AM!!! I am only 27!!! TWENTY-SEVEN!! That's not old at all, so why do I feel it? And LOOK IT!!!? 

SO... to get out of my fashion-funk or at least try to, I'm going to start taking photos of my daily outfits (I should say I will try to take a picture every day!) and see how posting  myself out there for the blogging world to see and maybe I'll start putting myself and my style on my priority list!!! So I'll start tomorrow!!! And I would LOVE comments about them!! And I'm not a skinny minnie, I'm a fatty patty!! :) Any ladies with "more to love" have any fashion advice please share!!!! 

Well, I'm still not feeling well :(

I think stress from work and the normal everyday life of mommy and wife have worn me out!! Especially work!

All I want to do is lay in bed and nap!! But that's not gonna happen... birthday parties and grocery shopping, laundry and dishes!!! Oh well... enough venting! I think later I'm gonna lay in bed and look at etsy :)

So Rai over at Blargle Fargle made a cute me for me!!! You can find the cute Ashleigh drawing on the right side of my blog!!! I cant say how much I love her! LOL! I know its me... but isn't she so dang cute!!!! Thanks sooooo much Rai!!! I love seeing all her cute rag dolls!!!

Prompt 9...I decided to journal about my hubby! FYI... I asked him a word he wanted me to include... it was awesome! LOL! But he is pretty awesome... :)

I feel kinda bad that it seems like I only feel yucky things! But I do feel good stuff... I just am having a crappy day at work! Next time I promise to only draw good things!!! :)

I know Janel drew a clock as well, but I have been thinking of getting a cuckoo clock for sooo long! I wish my parent's still had my grandma's :( And my dad always would say "Half past a freckle." So I had to add that! I wish there was another prompt out!!! But I do need to work since I am at work :/ 

I guess I didn't remember the prompt for the 30 day Journal Challenge right, but it's pretty close!

Here's my entry for ORNAMENT. I thought about how we decorate our homes... I sorta went with the same style as my GROW entry.

FLUID! Well, I work in a nursing home and see feed tubes and all kinds "stuff" so this is the first thing I thought of... and the second was a toilet! LOL!

"Who drank my wine?!" FULL BODIED. 

HUSH. I thought of alone, peace, nature.... 

Well here's day 3 of the 30 day journal challenge. 

Still not feeling well. But I have to say how fun this is! I like adding the writing to some of my drawings... like I can explain what Im thinking/feeling when I draw it! Im so happy Janel started this! 

Ps. I just noticed I forgot to add a heart after whole... just imagine it there! Also the drawing I did looks nothing like my hubby! LOL! Sorry Rob!

I honestly don't even remember what day Grow was for!!!!

But I thought about how as you grow how your bedroom changes with you... so that's the idea behind my version.

Fly... I made a card once that I stamped "fly away, fly away... but come home again, please." Kinda thought about that when I did this one. I added the words later.

FINALLY! Here's my entry for Multi layered! SOOO LATE! And to be honest, I drew this many times. Not this actual picture but different versions of Multi layered. I was going to post pictures of them as well but they wont upload so maybe tomorrow. Now I just need to catch up on day 4,5 and 6!! Oh and now day 7!!!

Just something I did... bored.

I seriously need to get my butt in gear and start catching up on my CBC assignments!!! 

On the other hand I have been spending much needed quality time with my husband and kids. Today we went to lunch and walked around a trendy neighborhood, then went down town by the lake and just walked around. It has been a really great couple of days family wise... now I just need to focus on drawing!

Lately I haven't been feeling very creative. Today on CBC Maegan talked about inspiration and where it stems from. I know it's in me, it's always there, lingering, hiding, but I can't seem to find it. I try to force it out by drawing and drawing some more and that seems to be doing the opposite of what I want... I feel like it's re-treating even more!! I'm frustrated! And I'm sure it's a reflection of what's going on with my family. My father-in-law passed away yesterday. We knew it was coming but still... it's never easy. I'm going to try to eat some food and  relax with my husband. After I'm going to head up to my craft nook and ponder the location of my missing creative inspiration!

I'm not sure how I feel about my drawing as of late... it hasn't been my best {sad face}

We are supposed to write about how we accept ourselves as artists and what and artist is to us.

I don't always accept myself as an artist, and I never think I have what it takes to be called an artist. Maybe someday I'll have enough confidence to call myself an artist.

Creativity Boot Camp #1

So Creativity Boot Camp started yesterday and I'm just now getting day one done and I should be done with day 2!! I'll get it together soon... I hope!

Anyways, the inspiration word was Ivory. Well, I thought ELEPHANT first... like I'm sure a lot did. Then I thought about the people who hunt elephants... then I'm not sure why but my mind wandered to 1910 and the hunters that are traveling far to go on this hunt for Ivory... and that's where my picture came from! Now I'm not that happy with my drawing, I know I can do better!

But well I'm just not feelin' it today! Maybe, hopefully after the kids go to sleep tonight?! HOPEFULLY!
